Coffee Machine Container
Replacement containers for coffee machines. Grounds containers, drip trays, coffee puck bins, bean hoppers, and milk frother cups for Delonghi, Breville, and other brands. Most orders go out same day from our Palmerston North warehouse.
Containers are model specific. The drip tray or grounds bin from one Delonghi model will not fit another. Match your model number before ordering.
How to find the right coffee machine container
Container parts vary by machine type and brand. A drip tray on a bean-to-cup machine is a different shape and size to one on a pod machine, even from the same brand. The model number is the most reliable way to confirm fit.
Before you order, check three things:
Your model number. It is on a sticker on the base or back of the machine. For Delonghi it usually starts with ECAM, ESAM, or EC followed by numbers.
The container type. Note what the container does is it a drip tray, a grounds bin, a bean hopper, or a milk container. The listing names will match these types. Having the old part to compare against saves time.
The product listing. Every listing states which machine models it fits. Match your full model number to that list before adding to cart.
Send us a photo of the old container and your machine model number. We'll confirm the right replacement before you spend anything.
Signs your coffee machine container needs replacing
Watch for these before it becomes a bigger problem:
-
The drip tray is cracked and leaking onto the bench
-
The grounds bin lid has broken or no longer clips in
-
The bean hopper has a crack that lets moisture in and beans get damp
-
The milk container is chipped or the seal on the lid is worn
-
The drip tray float indicator is stuck or broken off
A cracked drip tray left in place will eventually leak into the machine base. Replace it as soon as you see a crack.
Fitting coffee machine containers
Most coffee machine containers slot in and out with no tools. The drip tray slides out from the front of the machine and the replacement slides straight back in. If the container has a float, make sure it moves freely before you fit the tray.
Safety Note
Turn off the machine and allow it to cool before removing any container. Do not remove containers while the machine is running a cycle.

Coffee machine container FAQ
How do I find the model number on my Delonghi coffee machine?
Check the sticker on the base or back of the machine. It starts with ECAM, ESAM, EC, or EN followed by numbers. Write down the full code including the letters at the start.
My drip tray is cracked but the machine still works. Do I need to replace it?
Yes. A cracked drip tray will eventually leak into the machine base which can damage the internal components. Replace it before the crack gets worse.
Can I get Delonghi coffee machine parts directly from Delonghi in NZ?
Delonghi has no official parts store in NZ. Parts usually ship from Australia with extra lead time. We stock Delonghi coffee machine parts in NZ with same day dispatch.
Are coffee machine drip trays universal?
No. Drip trays vary in size and shape across models. Always match your model number to the product listing before ordering.
My grounds bin smells even after cleaning. Should I replace it?
If cleaning does not remove the smell, the plastic has likely absorbed oils from the coffee grounds over time. A replacement bin is the easiest fix.
