Dishwasher Parts in New Zealand
Spare parts for dishwashers across all major brands. Baskets, wheels, seals, filters, hoses, spray arms, door hinges, latch assemblies, inlet valves, and drain pumps for Fisher & Paykel, Bosch, Miele, Smeg, LG, Samsung, and more. Most orders go out same day from our Palmerston North warehouse.
Dishwasher parts are model specific. The same brand uses different parts across its range. Match your model number to the product listing before ordering. Send us a photo of the old part and your model number if you are not sure.
How to find the right dishwasher part
This is where most wrong orders happen. A spray arm from one Fisher & Paykel model will not fit another, and a door seal from a Bosch SMS series won't fit an SMV series. The model number is the only reliable guide.
Before you order, check three things:
Your dishwasher model number. It is on a sticker inside the door, usually along the top edge of the inner door panel or on the left side. Write it down in full including any letters at the end.
The part you are replacing. Keep the old part if you have it. For wheels, note whether they are upper or lower basket wheels as they are different parts. For seals, note whether it is a door seal or a tub seal.
The product listing. Every listing states which dishwasher models it fits. Match your full model number to the list before adding to cart.
Send us a photo of the old part along with your model number. We will confirm the right replacement before you spend anything.
Signs your dishwasher needs a new part
Watch for these before the dishwasher stops working entirely:
-
Water pooling at the bottom of the dishwasher after a cycle
-
The door leaking during a cycle
-
Dishwasher wheels cracked or broken so the basket does not slide properly
-
Dishes coming out dirty or with residue on them
-
The dishwasher not starting or the door not latching
-
A grinding or scraping sound during the wash cycle
A leaking door seal or a blocked filter left too long can cause water damage to the floor or cabinets underneath. Catching these early keeps the repair to one part.
Fitting dishwasher parts
Most people have their dishwasher sorted within the hour. Wheels click on and off. Dishwasher filters twist out and the replacement twists back in. Basket racks slide out on the rails and the replacement slides back in.
Safety Note
Turn off and unplug the dishwasher before replacing any part. Drain pumps, inlet valves, and control boards are electrical components and must be replaced by a sparky.

Dishwasher parts FAQ
How do I find my dishwasher model number?
Open the door and check the sticker along the top edge of the inner door panel or on the left side. Write down the full code including all letters.
My dishwasher is leaving water in the bottom. What part do I need?
Start with the filter. A blocked filter is the most common cause of poor drainage and is easy to clean or replace. If the filter is clear, the drain pump may need replacing.
Are dishwasher parts universal across brands?
No. Parts are brand and model specific. A Fisher & Paykel wheel or seal will not fit a Bosch. Always match your full model number to the product listing before ordering.
My dishwasher door is leaking. Is it always the seal?
Usually yes. Check the door seal first. If it is torn, stiff, or not sitting evenly in the channel, replace it. If the seal looks fine and the leak is coming from the hinge area, the hinge itself may need attention.
I cannot buy parts for my brand directly in NZ. Can you get them?
Yes. We stock dishwasher parts for Fisher & Paykel, Bosch, Miele, Smeg, LG, Samsung, and more, and can source many parts that are not shown online. Email us your model number and we will check availability.
