What do you offer?

Steve's Appliance Spares predominantly supplies spare parts to Trade and Wholesale customers for appliances, specializing in the distribution of factory direct spares, original brands and high quality alternative brand replacements. All lab certified components, not cheap copies. We also sell spares to the public, where possible, at reasonable rates.

Are your parts in stock?

A majority of our popular parts are in stock, we stock over 20,000 parts - probably somewhere between 30,000 - 40,000. We cannot stock everything and constant demand means stock is always coming and going. Unpopular parts must be ordered in from suppliers, usually this only takes a couple of days, but some suppliers are slower.

As an independent parts retailer & distributor, our stock levels are one of the highest in New Zealand. We keep thousands of elements in stock, thousands of door seals in stock, thousands of energy regulators in stock and hundreds of common bearings, handles, filters, door locks, hinges and more.

We do not state that all parts are in stock, nor guarantee every code listed is in stock as its not feasible or possible given the size of the NZ market. Our job is to source anything you need as fast as possible, with the most popular parts readily available for fast dispatch. We have added an inventory quantity on pages to show stock levels of in stock items, this will be more accurate over time.

Does your prices include GST?

No, listing prices exclude GST. Freight and GST are calculated during the checkout process. This is because it is easier on our B2B/Wholesale end for working out pricing.

Can you source parts that aren't listed on your website?

Yes, I can. Email me -

I can source: F&P, Electrolux, Simpson, Westinghouse, AEG, Samsung, LG, Panasonic, Bosch, Miele, Smeg, Omega, Midea, Haier and many more.

What is the expected delivery time frame?

If the item is in stock, usually 1-3 working days. Overnight courier if non-rural and in store.1-5 days if item has to be ordered in - new lead times will be listed on our order confirmation emails - some stock comes EX Australia now which can be 2-3 weeks. If the part is on back order, you will be notified when we have that information and order will be on hold or cancelled and refunded.

Please understand, not all suppliers are easy to get information out of, I do my best with the amount of access to information I have.

Kenwood, Delonghi, BEKO and Sunbeam all come from Australia, so there are longer wait times for these parts.

Due to COVID19, a lot of timeframes are longer, more parts are out of stock with suppliers, and we get spikes of high demand for one product, so we're struggling to keep up with demand. 

What are your freight costs?

$6.50 inclusive for small items, anything larger than A5 is $10.35-13.80 inclusive. Rural is extra. These will be reviewed as we get increasing costs from our freight suppliers.

Do you ship internationally?

No, I don't. I'm too busy with New Zealand orders to ship internationally. This will be reviewed in future.

Do your parts come with a warranty?

Yes, of course. 12 months warranty when installed by a registered electrical worker e.g appliance technician, electrician etc. If it is a non-electrical item, 12 months warranty. The return rate for items is currently lower than 0.1% (1/1000)

Some parts' warranty's are subject to appliance brands' discretion, I cannot control the warranty of third-party suppliers. 

Do you repair appliances?

No. Please refer to and find a local repairer to service your appliance.
