Miele Parts
Your Miele appliance has stopped working the way it should. Maybe the washing machine won't drain, the dishwasher won't start, the oven won't heat, or a seal, filter or shelf has worn out.
Miele appliances are built to last a long time, and they are built to be repaired. Most faults come down to one worn part. Not the whole machine. We stock Miele spare parts across washing machines, dishwashers, ovens, vacuums and more, dispatched from our NZ warehouse.
What parts we stock
Miele appliances are found in homes across New Zealand, and because they last, the parts that wear out are well known. We carry replacement parts across the range, including:
-
Washing machine parts like belts, pumps, seals, hoses and door parts
-
Dishwasher racks, wheels, filters, seals and hoses
-
Oven elements, door seals, knobs and shelves
-
Vacuum cleaner bags, filters, hoses and floor tools
-
Thermostats, controls and motor parts shared across appliance types
If you can't see what you need listed, email us your model number. We can often source Miele parts that aren't shown online.
How to find your model number
This is the single most important step, and it's where most wrong orders start. Miele makes many models, and the same part rarely fits across all of them. The model number is what pins down the exact part.
Where to look:
-
Washing machines and dryers: on the back panel, or around the door opening.
-
Dishwashers: on the side of the door, or around the door frame when open.
-
Ovens: around the door frame, or in the manual.
-
Vacuums: on a label on the body of the machine.
Write the number down exactly, every letter, number and dash. Still not sure you've got the right part? Send us the model number and a photo and we'll confirm it before you pay.
Genuine vs compatible parts
Some Miele parts are genuine, made or supplied by the original manufacturer. Others are compatible replacements built to do the same job.
Both can be the right choice depending on the part and your budget. Genuine parts match the original exactly. Good compatible parts are a sound, often cheaper option for many common repairs, like vacuum bags, filters and seals.
What matters most either way is that the part fits your model, so the model number still comes first. Tell us when you order and we'll confirm what a part is before it ships.
Fitting parts and a safety note
A Miele part should be fitted by someone with the right expertise. That can be you, if you're confident and competent with the job. Swapping a vacuum bag, a filter, a dishwasher wheel, a door seal or an oven shelf is usually straightforward, and you won't need a technician.
If you can do the job yourself, you can. But if it's not something you're confident with, hire a professional to fit the part.
Some parts are different. Anything electrical, like oven elements, thermostats and control parts, should be fitted by a qualified, licensed technician. Under New Zealand rules that work has to be done by someone licensed to do it. If you're unsure which category your part falls into, email us before you start and we'll tell you.

Miele parts FAQ
Where do I find my Miele model number?
It's on a label on the appliance. The back panel or door area on a washing machine, the side of the door on a dishwasher, the door frame on an oven, or the body of a vacuum. Write it down exactly.
Should I get genuine or compatible Miele parts?
Both can be right. Genuine parts match the original exactly. Good compatible parts, especially vacuum bags, filters and seals, do the same job and often cost less. The part fitting your model matters more than the label, so lead with your model number.
Can I fit Miele parts myself?
Many parts, like vacuum bags, filters, dishwasher wheels, seals and oven shelves, yes. Electrical parts like oven elements, thermostats and control parts must be fitted by a qualified, licensed technician under NZ rules. If you're not sure which kind your part is, ask us.
You don't list the part I need. Can you still get it?
Often, yes. Not everything we can source is shown online. Email us your model number and the part you're after, and we'll check what we can get.
Not sure which part you need? Send us your Miele model number and we'll help you find the right one.
