Samsung Fridge Freezer Parts

Samsung fridge parts for NZ. Shelves, water filters, crisper drawers, door bins, fan motors, ice maker parts, door handles and more. Most orders go out the same day from our Palmerston North warehouse.

Samsung doesn't sell parts through their own site in NZ. Most people end up at a service agent who charges just to show up. We stock the parts so you can skip that.

How to find the right Samsung fridge part

This is where most people go wrong. Samsung uses different part numbers across its fridge models, even when the parts look identical. A shelf from an SRS model won't necessarily fit an RF model, even if it looks the same size.

Before you order, check three things:

Check your model number first. It's usually on a sticker inside the fridge, on the left wall near the top or along the door frame. Write it down exactly, including any letters at the end. Those letters matter.

Know what you're replacing. If the part is still there, keep it. Take a photo before you remove it. The shape, the clip style, the size of the mounts. All of that helps narrow it down.

Compare your model to the product listing. The product title will list which Samsung models a part is compatible with. Run your model number through that list before adding to cart.

Send us a photo of the broken part along with your model number. We'll tell you what fits before you spend anything.

Signs your Samsung fridge needs a new part

You don't have to wait until something stops working completely. Watch out for:

  • A shelf that's cracked, chipped, or won't sit level
  • A drawer that's broken at the hinge or won't close properly
  • The fridge fan making a grinding or clicking noise when the fridge is running
  • The water dispenser or ice maker not working like it used to
  • Temperature problems, things getting too warm or the freezer icing up more than normal
  • A door seal that's torn or no longer sitting flat against the fridge

A broken drawer left alone puts stress on the runners. A fan that goes unattended long enough means a new motor, or a sparky to fit it. A part that costs $15 now can turn into a $200 repair if you leave it.

Fitting Samsung fridge parts

Most people have their fridge back in order within the hour. Shelves lift out. Drawers pull straight forward. Water filters twist out and the new one clicks in. Door bins slide off the rail and the replacement pushes back on.

Fan motors are a bit more involved. You'll need to access the back panel of the freezer compartment. If you're not sure what you're looking at, email us before you start. We're happy to talk you through it.

For fridge bins and drawers, the replacement clips in the same way the old one came out. Most Samsung models have the water filter inside the fridge at the top right, or in the base grille at the front.

Safety Note

Always unplug the fridge before replacing any internal parts. Anything electrical needs a sparky.

Samsung fridge freezer parts FAQ

How do I find my Samsung fridge model number?

On a sticker inside the fridge, usually on the left wall near the top. It starts with RF, SRS, or SRX. Write down the full code including any letters at the end.

Are Samsung fridge parts universal across models?

No. Always cross-check your model number against the product listing. A part that looks the same will often not fit a different model.

My Samsung fridge is making a loud noise. What part do I need?

Most of the time it's the fan motor. If it stops when you open the freezer door, that's the evaporator fan. If it's coming from the back near the bottom, it's the condenser fan.

Do I have to book a service agent just to get a Samsung fridge part?

No. We stock Samsung fridge parts you can order directly. Email us if you need help identifying the right part.

Will I have to wait weeks for a Samsung fridge part to arrive?

Not with us. We hold Samsung fridge parts in stock at our Palmerston North warehouse and most orders go out the same day. You are not waiting for something to ship from overseas.
