Steve's Appliance Spares knows the importance of speed, and we do our best to provide the fastest turnaround as possible stocking thousands of spares, ready for immediate dispatch. Due to the wide array of brands and spares used in models spanning across decades of appliances, we can only hold spares that show enough sales data to warrant stock on hand. Please read the information below that outlines our service.

Delivery Timeframes

ITEMS SHOWING STOCK LEVEL

Purchased before 3PM, we aim to dispatch same day with overnight courier for smaller items. Some larger, bulky, or heavy items, will be dispatched with a slower freight option.

Typically we aim to have these items delivered within 1-3 days, big freight or rural will take longer.

ITEMS NOT SHOWING STOCK LEVEL

Items not showing stock level can often be not up-to-date with inventory, or ordered on demand from suppliers. These items are very slow items, often ordered once a month or less. It is best to check availability with us first if urgent.

Some items are so rare that even the brands themselves don't stock them in New Zealand, and will come from Australia based warehouses or even further away. We endeavor to stock anything that will be very important when an appliance breaks down and try to show as much lead times as possible as we learn them for unpopular products.

General Leadtimes:

These exclude any processing delays or time delays due to time of order placed. e.g ordered on the weekend, it will only get processed from the next business day or ordered after 12PM, brands won't process till the following day.

Why do you list items available if not stocked on hand?

Our original website was created for trade customers to purchase items. A majority of our competitors list items "In stock" when they're just ordered in overnight or on demand. To stay competitive and available to our trade customers, we have to show items available to order and apply a back order notice to delayed items. We show our stock level on the product page to be upfront with the stock available in our warehouse, and a sold previously notice to advise the rarity of a spare part that may be viewed. We apply backorder notices to any delayed items we view as we order replacement stock daily. We continue to stock more parts and build upon the availability of spares, unfortunately there is no perfect solution with the lack of information or access we are given.

We sell to over 500+ trade customers who are accustom to the lead times from suppliers and are aware of the rare items that sometimes need to be ordered in. From the sales data we collect, we ensure we have the most popular items ready to ship.

We will continue to improve our service and aim to provide more accurate lead times as we are able to for any rare items.
