How to Use and Installation Notes

Drum bearing replacement is a major job requiring the machine to be fully stripped down. Have a qualified sparky or appliance technician carry out the work.

1. Switch off and unplug the washing machine from the mains supply.
2. Remove the top panel, control panel, door seal, and front panel to access the drum assembly.
3. Disconnect all wiring, hoses, and drum counterweights as required.
4. Remove the drum assembly from the cabinet.
5. Separate the front and rear tub halves. Remove the old bearings and seal from the rear tub.
6. Press the new front and rear bearings into the rear tub housing.
7. Fit the new tub seal.
8. Reassemble the tub halves using the original Bosch screws from the kit.
9. Fit the new tub gasket and refit the drum assembly into the cabinet.
10. Reconnect all wiring, hoses, and panels, then restore power and run a test cycle.
