How to Use and Installation Notes

Spark generator replacement on a gas appliance must be carried out by a registered gas fitter or sparky.

1. Turn off the gas supply at the isolation valve and isolate power to the hob at the switchboard before starting any work.
2. Remove the hob from the bench or open the access panel underneath to locate the spark generator module.
3. Photograph all wiring connections before disconnecting anything.
4. Disconnect each ignition lead and the mains supply connector from the old generator.
5. Unscrew or unclip the old module from its mounting and remove it.
6. Fit the new 00188606 generator in the same position and secure it.
7. Reconnect all ignition leads and the mains supply connector, referring to your photos.
8. Restore power and gas supply. Test each burner for correct ignition before returning the hob to service.
