How to Use and Installation Notes
Oven element replacement is an electrical job. Have a registered sparky carry out the installation.
- Isolate power to the oven at the switchboard before any work.
- Allow the oven to cool fully if it has been in use.
- Remove the oven shelves to access the rear panel inside the oven cavity.
- Unscrew the rear panel to expose the fan element behind it.
- Photograph the wiring connections before disconnecting anything.
- Disconnect the element terminals and unscrew the element from its mounting.
- Fit the new 00494643 element in the same position and secure it.
- Reconnect the terminals, refit the rear panel and shelves.
- Restore power and run the oven on fan-forced mode to confirm correct heating.

Safety Note: This is a mains voltage heating element. Isolate power at the switchboard before any work and allow the oven to cool fully. Installation must be carried out by a registered sparky.
