How to Use and Installation Notes
Door handle replacement takes about ten minutes and needs basic tools.
- Switch off and unplug the dryer.
- Open the dryer door fully to access the handle mounting points.
- Locate the screws or clips holding the old handle in place. These are typically on the inner face of the door panel.
- Remove the screws or release the clips and pull the old handle free.
- Position the new 497522 handle and secure it with the screws or clips.
- Test the door opens and closes correctly and that the latch engages before restoring power.
