The defrost element is a commonly replaced part in all fridge-freezers, including the Fisher & Paykel ActiveSmart range.
Symptoms of possible faulty defrost element:
Fridge-freezer beeping during the night, beeping often
Fridge-Freezer leaking
Fridge-Freezer not cycling properly / not chilling properly
Fridge-Freezer tripping RCD / protection device
Fridge-Freezer displays error code / beeping when switched on
Ice build up in freezer compartment
Flashing display in fridge compartment
Suits 635mm wide cabinets with two doors (will not suit single door models).
Suits cabinets with 134a Gas.
