Description
A perished oven door seal lets heat escape around the edge of the door, which means longer cook times, uneven results, and a much hotter kitchen than you signed up for. On Baumatic and Classique 60cm built in ovens, the seal is a single push in gasket that runs around the oven cavity opening and seats against the inner door panel.
This is the genuine Baumatic and Classique 60cm oven door seal gasket, part code AK900SD01. It fits a defined list of 60cm single wall ovens from both brands.

The verified models list appears in the table at the end of this description. The related Baumatic / Classique part AK50018 covers a different oven family (older Homeking range), so always check the model badge before ordering. If the existing seal is held by metal brackets or screws rather than push in pins, this gasket will not fit, your oven uses a different style.
How to Use and Installation Notes
- Allow the oven to cool fully before starting. The seal sits inside the cavity and is uncomfortable to work on warm.
- Open the oven door and pull the old gasket out of the seal channel using firm steady pressure. The push in pins should release without tools.
- Wipe down the seal channel with a damp cloth to remove any food debris or old gasket residue.
- Identify the orientation of the new AK900SD01 gasket: the corner with the connector or the longer edges typically face upward and outward.
- Starting at one upper corner, push the gasket pins into the matching holes in the seal channel.
- Work around the perimeter, pressing each pin home so the gasket sits flat against the cavity face without twisting.
- Close the oven door slowly and check that the gasket compresses evenly all the way around. Adjust if any section is bunched.
- Run a short empty bake at 180 degrees Celsius to let the new gasket settle, then check seal contact again. A faint smell on first heat is normal and clears quickly.
