How to Use and Installation Notes

• Determine the best wall position for the external wall vent -- it should be as close as possible to the dryer's exhaust outlet to minimise duct run length.
• Cut a 100mm diameter hole through the external wall at the chosen position.
• Fit the internal wall collar (IC4) into the wall opening from the inside.
• Install the gravity louvre wall vent (HS4W) on the outside of the wall, connecting it to the collar.
• Connect the rear diverter kit (DV4A) to the dryer's exhaust outlet at the back of the machine.
• Run the aluminium pipe (DP411S) and SUpurr-FLEX metallic ducting (FO408B) from the diverter to the internal wall collar, ensuring joins are secured with the CB34 ratchet clamps and the duct has as few bends as possible.
• Restore power and run the dryer to test that air flows freely through the duct to outside.
• Periodically check and clean lint from the duct run and wall vent to maintain airflow and prevent fire risk.
