Compatibility note: this remote was originally supplied with selected LG LED and OLED TV models from approximately the 2016-2019 model years. Because LG produced many TV variants with different shortcut button configurations (Netflix, Amazon, freeview-on-demand, etc.), the appearance and exact button layout of the AKB75055702 may differ slightly from your original. As long as the model code on the back of your existing remote is AKB75055702, this is the correct direct replacement. If you have a Magic Remote with point-and-click cursor functionality or voice control, this is a different remote type -- the AKB75055702 is the standard IR remote, not the Magic Remote.

How to Use and Installation Notes

• Slide open the battery compartment on the back of the remote.
• Insert two fresh AAA alkaline batteries with the polarity (+/-) as shown in the compartment.
• Replace the battery cover.
• Point the remote directly at the TV's IR sensor (typically near the LG logo on the front of the screen, or just below it).
• Press Power to test.
• Do not mix old and new batteries, and avoid mixing different battery brands.
• Change batteries when the remote becomes unresponsive or its range decreases, typically every 6 to 12 months depending on use.
