Compatibility

This filter is compatible with a wide range of Samsung side-by-side and bottom-mount fridges including the SRS, RS21, RS25, RS27, and RS76 series. How to Use and Installation Notes

• Locate the existing in-line filter -- typically behind the fridge or under the sink near where the water supply enters the fridge.
• Turn off the water supply to the fridge at the tap or shut-off valve.
• Open the fridge water dispenser briefly to release line pressure.
• To remove the old filter: press the collet ring on each end of the existing filter inwards and pull the tube out to release the push-fit fitting.
• Install the new DA29-10105J filter, paying close attention to the flow direction arrow printed on the body -- water must flow in the direction the arrow points.
• Push the tubes firmly into the quick-connect fittings on each end of the new filter. They should click and seat fully into the collet.
• Tug gently on each tube to confirm the connection is secure.
• Turn the water supply back on and check for leaks at both connections.
• Run approximately 8 litres of water through the dispenser to flush the new filter before drinking.
• Replace every 6 months or every 5,700 litres, whichever comes first.
