Choppers

Replacement parts for food choppers and mini choppers. Chopper bowls, lids, blades, seals, and drive couplings for Braun, Kenwood, Sunbeam, and other brands. Most orders go out same day from our Palmerston North warehouse.

Chopper parts are model specific. A bowl or blade from one Braun Multiquick chopper attachment will not fit another model. Check your model number before ordering.

How to find the right chopper part

Food choppers share a lot of parts that look the same but are not. Bowl diameters, lid locking mechanisms, and blade coupling styles all vary across models. The model number is the only reliable way to confirm fit.

Before you order, check three things:

Your model number. For stick blender chopper attachments it is on the motor handle, usually starting with MQ or MR for Braun. For standalone choppers it is on a sticker on the base.

The part you are replacing. Keep the old part if you have it. Note whether the bowl has a lock or clip, whether the lid seals with a rubber ring or a press-fit, and the number of blades on the chopper blade assembly.

The product listing. Every listing states which models it fits. Match your model number to the compatibility list before adding to cart.

Send us a photo of the old part along with your model number. We'll confirm the right part before you spend anything.

Signs your chopper needs a new part

Watch for these before the chopper stops working:

  • The bowl is cracked or has a chip on the rim where the lid clips on

  • The lid no longer locks or seals properly and food spills when chopping

  • The blade feels blunt or is visibly chipped

  • The drive coupling on the blade assembly is cracked or stripped

  • The chopper runs but the blade is not spinning at full speed

A cracked bowl or a lid that does not seal is a safety issue when the chopper is running. Replace it before using the machine again.

Fitting chopper parts

Most chopper parts take under a minute to swap. The bowl lifts off the motor base, the blade assembly pulls out of the bowl, and the lid presses on. Replacements fit back in the same way.

Safety Note

Unplug the chopper before removing or fitting any part. Chopper blades are very sharp. Hold the blade assembly by the hub, not the cutting edges.

Food chopper parts FAQ

How do I know which model my Braun chopper is?

Check the model number on the motor handle of your stick blender. It starts with MQ or MR followed by numbers. The chopper attachment is sold as part of the stick blender range, so the motor model number is what you need to match parts.

My chopper bowl is cracked. Is it safe to use?

No. A cracked bowl can fail while the chopper is running. Replace it before using the machine again.

The blade spins but the chopper is not chopping properly. What is the issue?

Check the drive coupling at the centre of the blade assembly. If it is cracked or stripped, the blade loses torque. Replace the full blade assembly.

Can I get Braun chopper parts in NZ?

Yes. Braun has no official NZ parts store. We stock Braun chopper and stick blender parts in NZ with same day dispatch from Palmerston North.

Are food chopper parts the same as food processor parts?

No. Mini choppers and food processors are different appliances with different parts. Chopper bowls, blades, and couplings are not interchangeable with full-size food processor parts even from the same brand.
